Cusworth Hall Museum

Award winning Grade I listed Cusworth Hall stands in its own beautiful landscaped park with fabulous views over Doncaster. Built in 1740 for William Wrightson, Cusworth remained a family home until 1952. Today visitors can learn about life above and below stairs for the Battie-Wrightson family and their servants through fascinating displays of objects and photographs. Themed displays explore how ordinary people lived, worked and entertained themselves in Doncaster from the eighteenth to the twenty-first century. The extensive park has been restored to its Edwardian heyday and is a great place to relax or stroll.
