Heritage Makers: Centenary Exhibition and Booklet

The exhibition celebrated the work of the Society and all the successful campaigns for Sheffield’s heritage carried out by Hunter members throughout the century. It included a range of original books and correspondence, finds from the Manor Lodge and the Castle, the original site index and the recently restored 1852 portrait of Joseph Hunter.   Also some of the finds from the schools’ test pit project were on display.  A free booklet featuring the lives of many active Hunter members, both then and now, was available.
