A look at Castlegate – a free guided walk with The Victorian Society

A free guided walk during Heritage Open Days led by Valerie Bayliss round the area where Sheffield began, and which after long neglect is on the brink of some serious and much-needed regeneration. Meet by the statue of Edward VII in Fitzalan Square, at 2.30pm; walk takes about 2 hours and ends at the Wicker Arches.
