A Look at the Natural History of Chinese Water Deer

This illustrated talk is by Geoff Guy who has carried out research into Chinese Water Deer populations in East Anglia. Chinese Water Deer are not native to the UK, they escaped from Whipsnade Zoo in the late 1920s and have since established themselves in wetland habitats in eastern England. Geoff will talk to us about the natural history of the deer and its likely expansion to other parts of the country.
