An Introduction to the Intangible Cultural Heritage Project

Dr David Clarke, Associate Professor in the Centre for Contemporary Legend at Sheffield Hallam University, will talk about the AHRC funded project and the collection of contemporary folk memories and vernacular culture. Sheffield has a very rich heritage in ‘intangible’ culture and David will talk about these and the work which the Centre for Contemporary Legend is carrying out. We will relate this to some examples from our local patch.
