Archaeology Survey Day 1 at Graves Park

Our geophysical surveys of the park, led by Mercian Archaeological Services continue on the 15th and 17th November. Using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) we will focus our attention on a number of locations to reveal the possibility of below ground archaeology in Graves Park.

Ground Penetrating Radar is a technique that sends a short pulse of radio frequency energy into the ground to detect anomalies at different depths.

We would love to have you join us and help with the survey. No experience is necessary as all training will be provided.
