Church Explorers’ Week 2025

Churches across the Diocese of Sheffield are opening places of worship to the public, providing a warm welcome to those wishing to explore. Visit the Church Explorers’ website to see where a church near you – including Sheffield’s Grade I listed Anglican Cathedral – is offering such activities as an open day, a guided tour, heritage display, family trail, outdoor activities or simply an open door with refreshments. The weeks has 5 themes: History & Heritage, Family Fun, Outdoors & Nature, Open Days, and Music, encouraging an appreciation of these unique places of worship through fun, exploration and discovery.
