Join an archaeologist on Tuesday 12th September and explore the woodland and heritage of Cobnar Ravine in Graves Park Sheffield.

On Tuesday 12th September (10am-12pm) join our archaeologist Chris Atkinson, and explore the rich history, ecology and archaeology of the area around Cobnar Ravine in Graves Park, Sheffield.

Discover the techniques used by archaeologist to identify and record archaeological features in the landscape, and what they can tell us about how the area has been used and how it has evolved over time.

This gentle 2 hour walk forms part of the on-going ‘Finding Lost Norton Park: Digging Deeper For All’ community project led by the Friends of Graves Park and supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.

Difficulty: Moderate – walk using well established undulating footpaths on a moderately steep slope.
