Finding Lost Norton Park: digging deeper for all – Archaeology survey days

This is a chance to get some hands-on landscape archaeology survey training using geophysical techniques. The event is taking place across parts of Graves Park which was formerly Norton Park linked to Norton Hall and its medieval deer park. Each of the days run from 10am to 4.30pm apart from Wednesday when there are 2 x 1/2 day sessions, afternoon and evening. The sessions need to be pre-booked and further details will be sent. Each day is individual although the archaeology team will be looking at different areas. Full training will be given so you don’t need any prior knowledge.
