Join Rivelin Valley Conservation Group at our October Open Meeting to hear John B Taylor present his talk Britain’s Peculiar Legacy of Follies, Myths and Fancies. In this talk he will look at the sites and places which recall our unique way of life, eccentricities, humour, oddities and the myths of history. For example who created and inspired our popular and apocryphal heroes and what is the truth behind larger than life figures. Follies populate the British landscape, but what are they meant to represent.
