Join Stephen and Wrawby as they continue their pictorial railway journeys and adventures. In putting together this slide show presentation entitled Woodhead the lost railway line, Stephen’s talk will include historical information and many a tale will be told to complement each picture.

The historic Woodhead railway line connecting Sheffield and Manchester opened in 1845, but the section between Hadfield and Penistone closed in 1981. Despite this, it remains fondly remembered by many.
