Hillsborough and Owlerton Local History Group.

Showing of a film from the early 1930s to the early 1950s, of local people having days out to the countryside, seaside,social afternoons, Whit walks, The Star walk and the delicacy of ice cream. The group was given four 16mm cine films and with a Heritage Lottery Grant the York film archives converted then to D.V.D. The films have been further edited by a professional film editor to make into a film about 60 minutes. It is a delight to watch!
