Hunter Archaeological Society talk by Clive Waddington ‘Drowning of the North Sea and the Impact on Mesolithic Groups’.

Following the Society AGM at 7pm, Clive Waddington of Archaeological Research Services Ltd. will tell us more about the effects on people living on the land now known as Doggerland – as sea level rose this became inundated to become the North Sea.   Clive has excavated Mesolithic sites on the Northumberland coast.
