In person at Portland Works Maker Space and online
We are delighted that our bi-monthly meeting will be a “hybrid” meeting. For the first time since before the pandemic, we will be meeting face to face in the Maker Space, kindly made available by Portland Works. Alternatively, you can join the meeting via Zoom if you prefer.
This is an opportunity to meet with people working in heritage in the city, hear what they are doing, share news or concerns, and learn how JUHS is working with decision makers for better recognition and support for heritage.
We are also very pleased that Chris Corker, Chair Portland Works Board of Directors, has agreed to deliver a presentation ‘The Dirty, the Idle, the Drunken and the Disorderly’: People, Public Health, Politics and Philanthropy in 19th Century Sheffield. The meeting and presentation will be recorded.
