Made in Sheffield: A Creative Future for Historic Spaces

Join Heritage Network & the Architectural Heritage Fund for a day of learning & celebrating creative industries and heritage spaces.

Hosted at Site Gallery, a repurposed workshop in the heart of Sheffield’s Cultural Industries Quarter, the programme for the day includes:

• Presentations and discussions on turning historic sites into creative spaces, including talks from Portland Works, Harmony Works and S1 Artspace.
• A workshop with Richard Butterfield, Partnership Team Leader, Historic England who will discuss Historic England’s research on reimagining historic spaces for creative use, drawing on insights from Heritage Works for Creative Industries.
• A guided walking tour of Sheffield City Centre, exploring heritage sites and examples of creative reuse.
• An optional tour of Portland Works.
