Join us for a Remembrance Sunday walk which will include a two minute silence in recognition of the millions who died and were wounded during World Wars I & II and in recent conflicts.
Our Chair, Mike Clarke, will be leading this walk which commences at 10.30am from The Gatehouse, Cemetery Avenue. There will be a two minute silence at 11am to honour those who have fallen, at the Cemetery’s war memorial. The tour will then resume and conclude at the Samuel Worth Chapel.
At the Chapel light refreshments will be served and our selection of history books will be available for sale featuring the book “A life too soon done” which outlines the lives of all the men linked to the Cemetery who died in World War One.
Tickets FREE. Donations welcome.
Dogs welcome – please keep on a lead at all times.
Sensible footwear required.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No minimum age but the tour is aimed at adults and is more suitable for children aged over 11.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No need to bring your ticket – we shall have your name on a list and you can be checked in when you arrive.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
On street parking on and around Cemetery Avenue close to the Gatehouse entrance. Nearest bus stops are on Ecclesall Road – Collegiate Crescent stop.
