SHEFFIELD 1925: Sheffield Gangs and Wembley Glory

John and Dave have developed their talk using the theme of Sheffield 1925 when a fratricidal gang dispute raged beyond a murder which led to executions by the state. Their talk will explore the social background to Sheffield’s most turbulent year and the divergence between local legends and historical reality. The importance of football in the life of the city will also feature. Very appropriate given the double promotions achieved this season by United and Wednesday!
