Sheffield Heritage Fair

Saturday, 29th January 2022 - Sunday, 30th January 2022

Millennium Galleries

Free - donations welcome

Join us for a celebration of Sheffield’s rich history, as we showcase the work of key heritage groups from around the city in a weekend-long fair at the Millennium Gallery.

Saturday 29 January 10am to 4pm and Sunday 30 January 11am to 4pm.

‘Sheffield at a Crossroads’ was the theme of a recent public forum, which led to the question, what will happen to Sheffield’s heritage as the city transforms itself?

From Sheffield Castle to the Old Town Hall, find out about the future of key sites, and chat with over 40 local groups who care for and promote Sheffield’s heritage.

You’ll also have the opportunity to nominate sites for local heritage recognition with the South Yorkshire Local Heritage List.

JUHS will be at the fair. Visit our stand and find out more about our work.

This event is being organised by well-known Sheffield character, author, and provider of Sheffield-based historical walks and talks, Ron Clayton, and historian and speaker, David Templeman.
