Sheffield’s silver-tongued septuagenarian, Sheridan Shacklethwaite – broadcaster, historian and after tea speaker – warmly invites you to join him for a light-hearted talk about the curios and legends of Yorkshire. Sheridan will show clips from his field work around the county and regale you with tales and oddities galore. Research has shown that audiences only retain five percent of the facts they hear during a lecture, so Sheridan saves everyone time by only giving you 5% fact in the first place! Allow your senses to become dislocated during this vaguely historical, mildly accurate, thoroughly researched, completely made up, yet hugely enjoyable performance talk.
Yorkshire Tea and cake provided.
