Join historian Robin Fielder to hear about his research into Brearley’s early life growing up in a Burngreave slum and working at Firth’s, Brearley Pyrometers, his growing reputation, and his discovery of stainless steel.
Learn how his work fed into his personal life; and as a socialist what he did with his money.
