Sheffield knives have been world famous for centuries. The history of the fork is less well known.  Paul’s talk, illustrated by items from his collection will fill the gap. Many of us know Paul Iseard as the former owner and manager of the Famous Sheffield Shop on Ecclesall Road, currently celebrating its 40th year of trading. Since handing over the reins of the shop, Paul has continued to pursue his love for all things made in Sheffield. He is now the Chair of Trustees of the Friends of Portland Works, the historic former metal trades factory on Randall Street that is today home to more than 30 craftspeople. Expect an interactive evening with a fun quiz to set the scene!

Tea, coffee and biscuits served from about 6.40 pm, before the talk begins.
