The story of James Neill, the company that almost became the biggest tool company in Europe

From humble beginnings, James Neill grew to be the second biggest tool manufacturer in Europe. They made their own steel and acquired lots of other companies in Sheffield and from further afield. In 1995 the company was rebranded as Spear and Jackson. This illustrated talk will also allow people to view items from The Hawley Collection relating to the company .
