VE Day Celebration

Attractions include:

• Flags and bunting, 4 “Tommy” statues, large display of poppies
• An opportunity to view the recently constructed “Memorial Garden” and tour the historic church
• Norton History Group exhibition of wartime Norton and memories, with archive material and photographs of servicemen from two World Wars
• Display of wartime aircraft from the Sheffield Modelling Group
• Computer disiplays
• Music from the 1940s
• Copies of Norton History Group’s new book “Norton in Wartime” for sale
