Broomhall Centre

Background

For the last 40 years the Broomhall Centre (formerly the Broomspring Centre) has served the local community as a neutral, affordable space for a wide range of activities. In 2013 the Charity incorporated. Run by a voluntary board of Directors and paid part time manager, the Centre seeks to balance the needs of the community with a sustainable future.

Activities

There are regular activities every day of the week, something for everyone, from youth clubs, exercise classes, ESOL, Drop In, supplementary schools, and Life drawing. We also have many cultural groups that meet here, some religious groups, and a whole host of performances, both musical and theatrical, as well as community celebrations, private parties, wedding celebrations and charity fundraisers.
