Friends of Hollin Busk – call for new members
Thanks to the tremendous support of local people, with over 500 objections, Sheffield City Council Planning Committee refused planning permission (by 12 votes to 1) to build houses on Hollin Busk’s protected green fields. The developer has submitted an appeal and there will now be a Public Inquiry.
FOHB are urgently seeking volunteers, especially anyone with knowledge of public inquiries or who are able to help with fundraising. The FOHB campaign has the support of Stocksbridge Town Council and CPRE but we need to strengthen our expertise for the appeal hearing. We are determined to safeguard this green open space for future generations. Anybody who can offer to help in any way please contact FOHB on 07736 820102.
