Hawley Collection: lottery “win” opens up job opportunity – plus three new books

Congratulations to our friends at the Hawley Collection. they have landed a major funding boost for their new project, ‘Pride, Passion and Skills – Made in Sheffield,’ in the shape of a £228,381 grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. The project will capture disappearing crafts, protect priceless industrial knowledge, and inspire young people to take pride in the city’s manufacturing past — and its future. This means that the Ken Hawley Collection Trust is now seeking an experienced and highly organised Project Officer to lead delivery of this project. Not content with that, they have also published three new books giving a unique insight into three Sheffield trades and crafts.
