A community-run park in Heeley

Heeley People’s Park (formerly Heeley Millennium Park) is a community-owned park in the Heeley area of Sheffield. It was built on a residential area which was bulldozed in the 1960s/70s for a dual carriageway which was never built. The land was neglected until the 1990s when a local group developed plans to turn it into a community park.
