Anglican Church designed by Sir Basil Spence

St Paul’s Church is a Grade II* Listed building, in the heart of Parson Cross in North Sheffield. The Hall (not listed) was built in 1949 as a 10-15 year temporary building, with the Church building designed by Sir Basil Spence and built in 1959.

As a Church congregation, we are on a journey of exploring and finding out more about the heritage and architectural significance of our building – as well as using the Church, Hall and Church grounds on a day-to-day basis. We serve and work with around 200 people throughout the week through our various groups, activities and Church services and are looking to redevelop the site over the coming years to enable more people to engage with the heritage of the site.
